Dissolved hydrogen

Water at Revival
A little more care, from our water to your glass. Discover molecular hydrogen water at Revival Rooms, explore the research and find a place for it in your everyday routine.

Why we offer it at Revival
For years, I have tested, treated and cared for the water people float in. Now I want to bring that same attention to the water we offer them to drink.
Éanna first discovered hydrogen water while researching floatation therapy in 2018. That interest continued through building the float centre and years of caring for its water.
Today, the aim is simple: make molecular hydrogen water available to everyone who visits Revival Rooms, with time to try it, ask questions and learn more.
Read Éanna's story in the bookA visit is a success when someone leaves feeling better than when they arrived. Our aim reaches beyond that hour: for them to carry that well-being home, into a more restful night, a better day and habits that support their health.

What's in the glass?
Molecular hydrogen water is drinking water containing dissolved hydrogen gas, known as H₂. That small addition is what researchers are studying.

The amount of molecular hydrogen in the water.
A separate measurement. A higher pH does not tell you the hydrogen concentration.
Two different measurements. One clearer starting point.
Follow your curiosity
Researchers have explored molecular hydrogen water in areas including exercise recovery and metabolic health. Our guide helps you look at what was studied, who took part and how the water was prepared.
Exercise recovery
Twelve elite finswimmers drank hydrogen-rich water or a placebo for four days of training, then swapped. Twelve hours after a hard session, the hydrogen-rich water phase showed lower creatine kinase, a blood marker of muscle strain (156 vs 190 U/L), less reported soreness (34 vs 42 on a 100-point scale) and a slightly higher jump (30.7 vs 29.8 cm).
The differences were measured at that 12-hour point, in a small group of trained athletes.

Sixty adults with metabolic syndrome, 30 men and 30 women, drank high-concentration hydrogen-rich water or a placebo every day for 24 weeks. Compared with placebo, the hydrogen-rich water group had lower blood cholesterol and glucose, lower HbA1c (a longer-term blood sugar marker) and improved markers of inflammation. Body mass index and waist-to-hip ratio also tended to fall slightly.
Everyone in this study had metabolic syndrome, so the results describe that group.

Make space for a small ritual
At breakfast. After a walk. Beside your notebook. A water routine can be simple, personal and easy to return to.
The book includes a 12-week water journey journal, with room to reflect each week on your routine and what you notice. It is a record of your experience, not a countdown to a promised result.

Let's talk
Ask a question, enquire about a demonstration or explore water at home. Your message comes to Revival first.
A personal conversation. A next step that suits you.
A few useful answers
No. Hydrogen concentration describes dissolved H₂. pH describes acidity or alkalinity. A system may change both, but they are different measurements.
Of course. Read the book, explore the information and ask us anything you would like clarified. You choose whether to take a next step.
No. Different settings have different purposes, and some are not for drinking. Follow the specific system's instructions. Ask the team which water is being served.
Your enquiry comes to the Revival team first. We’ll answer your questions and, if you’d like to explore further, introduce you to Declan at Medistic Health.
If you’re interested in water at home, we can arrange a conversation about the available systems, current prices and what’s involved in setting one up.
Start with a routine that fits your day. The book includes a 12-week journal for short weekly notes on your routine, how you feel and anything you notice along the way.
Yes. Ask the Revival team for a free printed copy during your visit.
