Relaxing in the private infrared sauna

Float Therapy and Infrared Sauna: Better Together

On their own, a float and an infrared sauna are two of the loveliest ways to switch off. Together, they are something else entirely. There is a reason the sauna-then-float pairing is the most booked package at Revival: warmth first, weightlessness after, and a body that leaves feeling brand new.

Two therapies, two different kinds of rest

What the infrared sauna does

Unlike a traditional sauna that heats the air until it is hard to breathe, infrared warms you directly: around 80% of its heat goes into the body rather than the room. Our private sauna uses two types of infrared, Magnesium and Full Spectrum Quartz, at a comfortable 40 to 55°C. The warmth reaches deep into tired muscles, gets the circulation moving in a way that feels like gentle exercise, and works up an honest, satisfying sweat.

What the float does

Then the float takes over. Lying back in ten inches of warm, magnesium-rich water, your body becomes weightless: every ounce of pressure lifts off your spine, hips and shoulders. With no light, no sound and no gravity to manage, the nervous system shifts out of fight-or-flight and into deep rest. You can read the full story on our Float Therapy page.

Why the order matters: warm first, float after

The sauna is the warm-up act in the truest sense. Thirty minutes of infrared heat loosens tight muscles and opens circulation, so by the time you lie back in the pod, your body is already halfway to letting go. Floaters who do the pairing consistently tell us the float goes deeper and arrives faster.

  • Muscles get a double release. Heat softens them; weightlessness lets them switch off completely. Athletes use the combination to ease soreness and support recovery after training.
  • Circulation gets a boost, then a rest. Infrared warmth raises blood flow, delivering oxygen and nutrients where the body is repairing. The float that follows lets the whole system settle.
  • Stress gets addressed from both ends. Warmth is comforting and mood-lifting; sensory rest lowers the stress load itself. Many guests say the pairing gives them the calmest few hours of their month.
  • Sleep that night is remarkable. Deep heat plus deep rest is a famous recipe among our regulars.

Who loves the combination

Athletes and runners after heavy training weeks. Anyone carrying tension in their neck, shoulders or back. Couples making an occasion of it, sharing the sauna before floating. And busy people who want the fullest possible reset from a single visit.

How to book it

The pairing comes as a ready-made package: a 30-minute private infrared sauna followed by a 60-minute float for €79, with options for two people to share the experience. Members do even better: the sauna and float membership includes both every month for €59. See all the details on our packages page, or book the full reset now.
